Programme Overview
Organisations increasingly bring together employees from different generations, cultures, languages and professional backgrounds and while this diversity brings valuable perspectives and capabilities, it can also create challenges for leaders and managers if differences in communication styles, expectations and approaches to work are not well understood.
This practical half-day workshop equips leaders and managers with the insight and strategies needed to effectively manage teams that span multiple generations and cultural backgrounds.
Participants will explore how differences in communication, attitudes towards authority, work ethic and approaches to collaboration can influence team dynamics and how leaders can turn these differences into strengths that support team performance.
This workshop is designed for professionals responsible for leading diverse teams, including:
- Business owners and senior leaders
- Managers and team leaders
- HR professionals supporting diverse workplaces
- Managers supporting teams across different global locations
This programme is particularly relevant for organisations where teams include multiple generations and international employees, and where leaders must manage differences in language, culture, communication styles and expectations of workplace behaviour.
Key Challenges This Programme Addresses:
When cultural and generational differences are not actively managed, organisations can experience:
- Communication breakdowns
- Reduced team cohesion
- Frustration around authority and decision-making
- Perceived performance or attitude issues
- Increased staff turnover
- Negative impact on customer interactions
Strong leaders recognise that what appears to be “attitude” is often difference — and that when understood, these differences can become strengths within a team.
What Participants Will Explore

- Communication gaps and cultural misunderstandings
