Creating efficiencies for People Practices with Lean Thinking
This programme introduces HR professionals and managers to practical Lean principles and tools, tailored specifically to HR and people-related processes.
Rather than focusing on manufacturing-style Lean, this session shows how Lean thinking can be applied within HR to reduce inefficiencies, improve service delivery, and increase the strategic contribution of the function.
Participants gain a practical understanding of how to streamline workflows, remove non-value-adding activity, reduce cycle times, and strengthen governance across core people processes.
Lean in HR is not about “doing more with less”, but about doing the right work, in the right way, with clarity and discipline.
HR teams are often overloaded with transactional activity, duplicated processes, and unclear handoffs. This programme helps participants:
- Identify hidden waste in HR operations
- Improve employee experience through better process design
- Strengthen governance and consistency
- Support operational excellence across the organisation
- Build a culture of continuous, sustainable improvement
